Need a Brother laser printer for RPG character sheets - which model?

I’ve been running a long-term tabletop RPG campaign and my old inkjet is finally giving out. I print a lot of character sheets, DM notes, and occasionally maps, so I’m looking at Brother laser printers. I’ve seen some recommendations for the best Brother laser printer of 2026, but I’m unsure which model fits my needs. My main concern is toner cost and whether a monochrome printer is enough or if I should spring for color. I don’t need anything fancy—just reliable text printing and maybe some light graphics. Also, I’m on a budget, so I’d rather not overspend on features I won’t use. If you have experience with Brother lasers for RPG materials, which model do you use and why? Any advice on toner life and maintenance would be great. Thanks!
