2024 going on 2025, any good places to look to get started with Verge?

Hello I used Verge a long time ago back when it was in its prime and I wanted to dive back into it, I tried downloading some zip files from the repository but I got download failed on them, is the repo still good and working or is there any where else I should look to download a copy of Verge?
And are there any good places to look for tutorials on how to use Verge and any good places to browse assets to use for it? Aside from just downloading random zip files from the repo and search the files myself?Thank you for any help,

As for getting back into Verge, that would depend on which version you’re looking for… the repo has definitely seen better days. But we definitely have the files still. As well as a way to play some old V1 and V2 games online!
